How to Make it:

STEP 1 - CREATE OBJECTS

-Each template consists of at least 2 objects: the menu background and the lock button

STEP 2 - SET PARENT

-Set the lock button as a child of the menu background
-Make sure any object going in the menu is a child object

STEP 3 - CUSTOMIZING

-Open the menu's properties and go to the Relations tab; set activation to "rectangular area" (this will facilitate mouse over/mouse away functions)

STEP 4 - ADD SCRIPT

-Copy & paste the script from one of the template objects into your menu object.
-Be sure the information in the script listed under Important Objects & Settings matches your lock button name.
-Set the MoveFX variable to 1 to slide in to show, or 2 to pop up to show.
-You can also make adjustments to Margin and Increment

How to Use It:

Import any of the template objects into your project and make your modifications.

In the templates, I've made the menus accept drag and drop. To disable this, open properties; in the general tab, click 'change' object type and uncheck 'accepts drag and drop.'
If you don't want to use the lock button, you can simply hide it (do NOT delete the lock button unless you intend to change the script.)

AUTOHIDE REMOTE

I included this object as an example of how to call the 'showBar' function in the menu from another object, should you need to.
Import it with one of the menus to see how it works.
